Even as I border on an upcoming rather significant birthday (translation: I’m OLD!), September still feels like a time of new beginnings, to learn something new, and provides additional space for reflection. As we move towards the end of the easy livin’ of Summer, we might feel rejuvenated and energized to take on new challenges.
Here are some upcoming opportunities to slow down, learn something new, and reflect.
Power Down Yoga:
I got your meditation…right here. I’m thrilled and honored to be adding a new class to my NY Loves Yoga schedule. Starting on Thursday, September 4 at 8:00pm I’ll be guiding Power Down Yoga. The class will incorporate a potent vinyasa series followed by a 15 minute guided meditation. As your schedule picks up in the Autumn, this will be a great way to find a little structured quiet space for yourself. I’d love to see you on the cushion and share the significant impact a meditation practice can have. Join me!
Back to Basics Workshop Series:
It is, after all, back to school time, right? Whether you are new to yoga or have some classes under your belt, this is a great place for you to start or fine-tune what you know.
Join me for my Back to Basics Workshop series starting Tuesday, September 9. Each week will have a different focus and we’ll break down poses to create alignment awareness and keep you safe in your practice. There will be lots of hands-on adjustments, observation, and practice! You’ll leave feeling confident and comfortable with your practice! Space is limited so secure your space as this always sells out!
As an added incentive to learn something new, book with a friend for the entire series by Thursday, September 4 and each of you receive $20.00 off the series price!

Yoga Adventure in Thailand:
How does a week in Thailand sound? Good, right? How about two weeks in Thailand? Twice as good, right?
Well, my friend Chia-Ti Chu is offering up an optional 1-2 week retreat to Thailand in November. Each week includes daily yoga practice, a Thai Massage session, and fun stuff like a Thai cooking class, celebration of Loi Kratong (lantern festival), temple tours and sightseeing to historical sites, visits to floating markets…and, of course, beautiful beaches. There are only a few spots left for this trip, so secure your spot before you miss out on this marvelous adventure!

Death and Dying Project:
I am working on an upcoming project which surrounds death and dying. Loss is never easy…to experience or discuss. If you have had someone close to you (Husband, Wife, Significant Other, Brother, Sister, Dear Friend, etc.) die, I’d love for you to message me here. I will give you some additional details on the project and let you know how you can help.
With love and gratitude.
