Over the past 36 hours, for me, it has been mostly about self care. Watching my emotions, acknowledging them, but not identifying them as who I am. Part of that self care has been listening to music. This is a piece I will play for savasana when time permits. When I woke up yesterday (November 9, 2016), the end scene in Angels in America was very present in my mind. I thought it very apt:
The world only spins forward.
We will be citizens.
The time has come. Bye now.
