I trust the last days of 2016 and the first days of 2017 have found you setting intentions for a solid foundation in the upcoming year. May you have happiness, joy, and freedom throughout!

The only constant is change and the end of 2016 brought the gentle reminder of the impermanence of all things. The gym (that) pioneered the idea of club as nightclub, David Barton Gym, ceased operations of its New York City locations. But as the adage goes, doors closing and opening and all, I’m adding of a new class on Saturdays at 11am at NYHRC 50th Street. Because change is constant, it won’t be the last addition or change in 2017 and you can keep up to date on my schedule by clicking here.

200 Hour Brooklyn Yoga Project Teacher Training

Join this Yoga Alliance certified 200 Hour Teacher Training, starting in March, at our home in Brooklyn. Throughout the training you will explore the history of yoga and its philosophy, study asana and the movement of the body, dive into meditation, and deconstruct the layers of your heart. You’ll break down the asana and learn about the anatomy and physiology of the body, and as it moves through the postures. Explore and discover the root of asana – breath and bandhas, and learn the benefits of pranayama. Learn about the chakras of the body and how they connect to the poses, the breath, and YOU!
